I am a small‑town farm wife married to a sixth‑generation farmer on the same homestead his family has worked for over a century. God has truly blessed us with this crazy, busy, fun life! Our children are grown and married now, and we’re enjoying the not‑so‑quiet “empty nest” years — loving grandkids, cheering on their milestones, and working to pass on this family farm legacy to the next generations.
Life here means constant motion: parts runs, field checks, meal deliveries, moving equipment, and stepping in wherever the crew needs an extra hand. No day looks the same, and there’s never a dull moment. With so many moving parts, keeping the office side of the operation running smoothly became part of my role — Office Manager Extraordinaire. Working through the chaos of a farm office taught me how easily unclear numbers lead to poor decisions and unnecessary stress.
